TALIA WOODLAND
​Filmmaker

Talia Woodland is a unique multi-media creative artist from Whitehorse, Yukon. Being a dancer, choreographer, photographer, and filmmaker, she feels adept both in front of and behind the camera. Her involvement and participation in the dance community inspires the direction and intention of her films, while simultaneously keeping her body and soul invigorated and moving forward to create innovative and boundary pushing works.​

RAOUL WILKE
Lead Dance Artist

From main stage Theatre to world renown battles, Raoul Wilke has become a staple name in these communities. His passion for learning and educating, has become his prompt and looks to further introduce, a new approach to learning. He is now a part of a Dora award winning company, Holla Jazz as well as a local dance collective The Moon runners. He is a multifaceted artist, whose love for fashion has opened up many doors from being a lead male actor, to modeling print for Walmart and E-Commerce for vintage clothing stores. He approaches life, as a constant journey but its path forever changing.​

MARIUS PLENICEANU
​Music Producer

Marius M4RS Pleniceanu, is a DJ/Producer/Bboy and overall music fanatic, hailing from Toronto, Canada. Starting off as a bboy in the early 2000's, he later became part of the legendary Bag of Trix crew. As a DJ, he has played THOUSANDS of events, becoming a household name for dance battles and providing tracks for the biggest festivals in Canada (Redbull, Freestyle Session, Graffiti Festival, etc).  As a producer, he has released his own works, as well as remixes, with more coming in the fall of 2020. M4RS dropped a 10 track beat tape in 2019, entitled "Distorted Vibrations," which also came out as a limited cassette release - but is also available on all streaming platforms. The music video for the song "Check It," is up on Youtube and you should check it out. Last but not least, his experience also includes theatre performances and movies with IMDB credits, one of which, entitled "Mayflowers" is airing on CBC as of October 1, 2020.

NATASHA POWELL
Dancer



Natasha Powell is a Toronto native who has been working in the dance industry for 17 years. Her soulful approach to movement that transcends genre can be seen and felt in her dancing, choreography, and teachings.
Growing up in a Caribbean home, dancing has always been in her life. 
No stranger to the stage, Natasha has collaborated and created over 20 dance works for live performance. As the founder, artistic director, and choreographer for her company HOLLA JAZZ, she created the award-winning show FLOOR’D - the company’s first full-length production, presenting historical jazz dances in a new light. The production was nominated for 4 Dora Mavor Moore Awards (including
Outstanding Original Choreography by Powell, and Outstanding Production) winner of the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble, and named one of top 10 dance shows of the recent decade by NOW Magazine.
Inspired by social dances such as jazz, hip hop, and house dance, Natasha shares her love for movement through teaching dance classes and workshops in Toronto and across Canada. She helps individuals find their personal groove, make breakthroughs in their dancing, and ultimately experience joy in their bodies.

MARCUS PARIS
​Dancer

Marcus Paris is a man with many passions in life but one has helped create a special purpose within himself, that passion would be dance. Dance has been involved in his life since he was a child and has always been a tool for expression. As Marcus grew up he began to involve himself in multiple dance communities such as Hip Hop and Dancehall, but during his teenage years he discovered Krump. In the 14
years of learning, participating in, and spreading the movement of Krump, it has helped him grow into the best version of himself. Krump has created a leader out of Marcus by allowing him to help guide his peers, create structure and practice within the community. Marcus has contributed to creating a community that is inclusive, supportive, and caring to those within it/want to learn about it. Marcus hopes to continue to grow and attain the knowledge needed so that he can continue to spread the powerful message of Krump since it has been such an outlet for him and many others in teaching the value of self.​
