Next up, we are rolling with Jesse aka Jester! @jamminjazzyjester
A force within the Toronto scene, always jamming and bringing good vibes, he's recently returned to Hamilton where he shows us his art, dance, figs, and life in quarantine. Jesse reps Albino Zebrahs, Conscious Soles, and Supernaturalz crews ...check out @jjcatibog for more of his art.... "Dabbled in many various dance styles from contemporary, ballroom to tik tok (lol)...my approach is very situational and very much music-driven. Depending what song is being played and how I’m feeling at that moment, I may or may not be inclined to throwdown/ dance/ let go. We all experience music differently and music gives us a different experience every time. I’m a FEELSTYLER more than I am a freestyler. I move because I feel, not just because I know how (to move)! :)" - Bboy Jester
One day in the physically undisturbed future, you'll be able to catch him in the circle and it will be oh so sweet.
Parks N' Wreck looks a little different this year. Although we can't meet at the park for get downs and reunions in the hundreds, we are excited to announce what's been brewing! We've planned digital content, panel discussions, and a mini street dance film fest, for you all to enjoy wherever you are. Stay tuned for announcements!
Parks N’ Wreck is aimed to engage the Toronto streetdance community and local residents. Parks N’ Wreck gets people moving and socially connected through music and dance. This year’s event includes commissioned digital content showcasing Toronto street dancers and the styles of House, Whacking/Waacking, Hop hop, and Popping. The summer long program aims to captivate local residents and artists to enliven our city and celebrate the diversity and artistry Toronto has to offer!
Stay tuned for our digital content coming soon!
